how would you grade your pitching and batting (remember you have 8 keepers), do you need to make a trade, or do you have alot of good young talent that you wanna trade away to make a run at the title...or is it time to unload your veterans to stock up for next year..?
i really like my pitching in terms of a keeper league. Peavy will be my team ace for years to come (even though he is having a rough start), i have king felix (he will turn it around), Liriano (johan #2?), Kazmir(thanks philliez!), and a couple of good closers that i could consider keeping. i would definetly give my pitching in terms of "potential" and everything else at least an -A, maybe A...
as for batting, i have pujols(thanks pack), reyes, and i havent decided on the rest. Just because of pujols its a B, and reyes is a god at SS (well, once he learns how to be patient and take some walks, look out.)
i have a couple other good pitchers up for trade (verlander, ray) if your interested...i would love to have some feedback on my keepers, and here about your plans. (PS im looking for an OF)

Yeah thanks for informing me it was a keeper BEFORE the trade lol I like my team but I need to load up on some talent for the long haul. Maybe a deal or I'll just grab some FA players after I bomb it.

I really don't know how I'm thinking about keeping other than Utley and maybe Holliday. For pitching Johan Santana is looking like trade bait for me to get some good "youngins". Bonderman is a possible keeper, but I really should've went after Verlander when I had the chance instead of him. Wickman and Wagner are not keepers, and Maholm/Bedard probably won't be. But there's still a lot of season left. I need some young talent though.
